The Red Clay has a high content of iron and essential minerals to help replenish and regenerate the epidermis of the skin to create softening and conditioning skin with a healthy glow. Red clay can also be used as an organic hair colour. An oily clay with a gentle absorbing action. Perfect for use in masks for dehydrated and mature skin. Should only be used mixed with other Australian Orgainc Clays as it is too strong for direct application.

Mix clays and other dry ingredients together in a bowl, create a well and slowly add hydrosol and stir into a creamy paste consistency. Continue to add essential oils or other ingredients. You can add Crystal Ion or 0.5% of carrier oil to your mud preparation to avoid the mixture drying up. Or add one teaspoon of Aloe Vera. Apply a liberal layer of clay mask to face, neck and body (avoid delicate eye area). Leave on for 10-15 minutes. Rinse with warm water. Complete your beauty regime with a Hydrosols and a cream.

Precautions : Red, Blue and Black clays should never be used alone when making a mask as it may stain the skin. The natural mineral ingredient of all type of clay can possibly cause to allergy. Test on small area of skin before use. Make sure to refrigerate or to store your mask for up to a month you will need to add a natural preservative. For example of grapefruit seed antiseptic, rosemary antioxidant or/and herbs preservative. And clays may stain white linen if undiluted.
