Olive Emulsifying Wax are natural, liquid crystal/ Non-ionic, ingredients Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Oliva, made and imported from Australia and comes in white flakes, naturally derived from plant based and Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate which is a stabilizing wax produced from the reduction of plant oils and natural waxes. It is a vegetable based emulsifier and thickening agent used to give body to a formulation and permits the formulation of stable creams, used for combining oil and water in recipes for lotions, creams, and other cosmetics. Promotes functional skin hydration. Derived from olives.

Olive Emulsifying Wax emulsifier is best formulated at pH of between 5-7 and as such is not an ideal choice for AHA based formulations or for cleansing formulations with a high pH. Promotes functional skin hydration. Self-emulsifying system for O/W cream, gel and lotion, liquid crystal generator. Peg-free. No need for co-emulsifiers or stabilizers. Flexible with respect to oil polarity.

How To Used :

To be used within 2-10% with 2-5% used for gelling a water phase and 3-10% for creams, as part of an emulsion system. The emulsifier is supplied in waxy blocks and melts at temperatures of between 62-67C but it can be heated to higher temperatures if desired.
