Vitamin A can act as a keratinization regulator, helping to improve the skin's texture, firmness and smoothness. Vitamin A esters, once in the skin, convert to retinoic acid and provide anti-aging benefits. Vitamin A is believed to be essential for the generation and function of skin cells. Its deficiency shows a degeneration of dermal tissue, and the skin becomes thick and dry. Surface application of vitamin A helps prevent skin dryness and scaliness, keeping the skin healthy, clear, and infection resistant. Its skin regeneration properties appear enhanced when combined with vitamin E. Vitamin A is a major constituent of such oils as cod liver and shark, and many fish and vegetable oils.

Activity 1.7 Mio IU/g. Clear, golden oily liquid, faint odor. Slightly soluble in alcohol, miscible in oils, insoluble in water. It as it is the active agent for treatment of aging skin in beauty care. Vitamin A promotes the enzyme activity in the skin, thickens the epidermis and can regenerate skin prematurely aged by UV-radiation. This product can also assist in increasing the skins elasticity and the reversal of photo damage. Potent skin regenerating properties (promotes epithelization & keratinization e.g. after sun burns), anti-aging & anti-wrinkle, anti-acneic properties.

How To Used :

Can be added to formulas as is the last ingredient, usual final concentration 2 drops to 10 drops per 100G of cream, 500-10'000 IU/g (1g = 20 drops = 1.7 Mio units); Example: 10 drops vitamin A per 100g (3.5oz) cream gives 8'500 IU/g. Application to all kind of skincare products, regenerating, nourishing, and after sun products. For cosmetic application only.
