Pimento Essential Oil is good to used for digestive problem and rheumatism. The effect of Pimento can be almost magic. Used in tiny amounts, just a single drop, when dramatic help is needed very quickly. One drop and well diluted and massaged clockwise over the abdomen will rapidly relieve vomiting and intestinal spasm, especially when this is associated with an emotional crisis or acute anxiety. The effect is deeply warming, used in suitably low concentrations, it produces a comforting sensation of warmth gradually penetrating the body. Just add a single drop to a blend that already prepared if, during the course of a massage.

The rapid heating can help to disperse the cold and tightness in quite a dramatic way. The same warming effect is very comforting in arthritis and rheumatism and for tired, aching muscles. In muscle spasm, Pimento will help to restore mobility quickly. Massaging the chest with Pimento can calm an exhausting cough. This is a tonic and stimulant oil, and would be helpful for extreme fatigue, and it is not used over too long a period. Single drop of Pimento added to Jasmine in a carrier oil have noticed an aphrodisiac effect with Pimento, but it should not be used to excess. The tonic aphrodisiacs can have unwanted side effects if used repeatedly.

The essential oil is distilled from the leaves or berries and smells somewhat like Clove Essential Oil. Eugenol is the main constituent, up to 96% in the oil from the leaves with some cineol, phellandrene and caryophyllene. The oil from the berries is preferable in aromatherapy, as it is less irritant than that from the leaves.

Well Blend with other Essential Oils It works particularly well with Ginger Essential Oil, Geranium Essential Oil, Lavender Essential Oil, Orange Essential Oil, Patchouli Essential Oil, Ylang Ylang Essential Oil. The note is Middle.
