Description

Pennyroyal Essential Oil, Botanical Name Mentha Pulegium, extract from flower by steam distillation. The herb and oil were traditionally used to strengthen the nerves, being valuable in hysteric disorders, nervous exhaustion and externally applied for neuralgia. And has a long traditional use as a carminative, diaphoretic, stimulant and as an emmenagogue. It is a perennial herb with smooth roundish stalks and aromatic, gray-green oval leaves. The pale yellow oil has a scent very similar to peppermint. Pennyroyal does not blend well with other oils and the note is Top.
