May Chang Essential oil botanical name Litsea Cubeba, extract from May Chang's fruit by steam distillation.

The main uses of May Chang are in skin care, and it is used in many commercial preparations. It is non-irritant, very antiseptic and very effective in treating oily skin, acne, and spots in general. It's a good alternative to Bergamot, especially for facial application as there is no risk of photosensitivity. It reduces excessive perspiration and is a very good deodorant. It makes a very refreshing bath oil. Being antiseptic and deodorizing it is very suitable for the bathroom but it is another oil that is good to use during epidemics. Use this oil spraying or vaporizing in the house, it is a very good antidepressant, always welcome during the grey days.

The lemon-scented leaves and flowers and small berries resembling peppers.
