Lotus White Absolute Essential Oil, Botanical Name Nelumbo Nucifera, extract from Lotus's flower by food grade solvent. Lotus essential oil is known for its ability to calm and sooth. The flower is often viewed as a symbol of awakening, the reason is that while it grows in muddy ponds of sometimes stagnant water, it blossoms every day with the pre-morning sun. The pale yellow oil has an exotic floral aroma with slightly herbaceous and medicinal notes. Blends well with generally all oils, though it seems to work best with other floral oils. The note is Middle to Top. Lotus oil is soothing, toning, moisturizing and stimulating. Contains Vitamin A (retinol) and vitamin C. Plays an important role in the production of cell renewal.
