Description

Glycerine is used as a wetting agent in emulsifiers,  emulsions and skin protective. Excellent in cosmetics to keeping the skin soft and is used in body and shaving creams and is the basic material in which toothpaste is formed and preserves the desired smoothness and viscosity of the paste. Glycerin helps the skin retain moisture, used in moisturizers due to its water binding capabilities that allow it to draw and absorb water from the air. Some of its associated skin benefits are attributed to its ability to facilitate enzymatic reactions in the skin which enhance comeocyte desquamation. Glycerin has definitely been established as a good skin moisturizing agent. It also improves the spreading qualities of creams and lotions. It is a clear, syrupy liquid made by chemically combining water and fat that is usually derived from vegetable oil.

How To Used :

Added as is to the water phase of the formulas, typical use level 1 - 5% in emulsions. Applications various skin care products, hair care products, color cosmetics, soaps (glycerin soap), mouthwashes and toothpaste etc.,
