Juniper Berry Essential oil, Botanical Name Juniperus Communis, extract from Juniper's berries by steam distillation. Juniperberry essential oil has been known since antiquity as an antiseptic, detoxification and diuretic. It is one of the most valuable oils in all situations where the body needs to throw off toxic wastes, special affinity with the urino-genital tract, being tonic, purifying and stimulant. Juniper is the best oils to choose for treating cystitis, pyelitis and urinary stones, but do not delay in getting medical help, though you can usefully continue with aromatic baths and massage at the same time. Scanty or missing periods can be treated with Juniper used over the abdomen.
