Description

Wintergreen Essential Oil, Botanical Name Gaultheria Procumbens, extracted from Wintergreen's leaves by steam distillation. Wintergreen Essential Oil famous use as a pain reliever. Its lively, heating and cooling menthol power gives temporary relief to the symptoms of muscular, arthritic and rheumatic aches and pains. It is also believed to increase the speed of healing for skin disorders. Wintergreen have been used in traditional folk remedies. Its main ingredient, has led to the discovery of Methyl Salicylate, as a pain reliever, aches and pains and to help breathing while hunting or carrying heavy loads. It has a strong mint candy flavor.

Blends well with Ylang Ylang Essential Oil, Peppermint Essential Oil, Marjoram Sweet Essential Oil, Lavender Essential Oil, Birch Essential Oil and Vanilla Essential Oil. The note is Middle to Top.
