Properties :

Cellulite (nickname is Orange Peel Skin), affects women almost exclusively, and there is a definite connection with the hormonal balance, or a sign of a more serious toxic state of the body, and an indication that the lymphatic system is sluggish and elimination in general less than efficient, due to the characteristic puckering which distinguishes cellulite from plain fat.

The puckering is due to the fact that the walls of the subcutaneous far cells gradually grow thicker, with deposits of fibrous collagen, so locking in the fluid and toxins.

Essential oils with a variety of properties is detoxifying, stimulating to the lymphatic system, hormone balancing and diuretic. As treatment needs to be continued over some weeks, or months, depending on the severity of the cellulite. Usually begin a course of the treatment by using a specialised form of massage to drain and stimulate the lymphatic system, and also give some to be used in baths.

It speeds the treatment if the client uses a massage glove on the affected areas between treatments. Stress is often a factor in cellulite. If this seems to be the case, it is a good idea to use Stress Relief massage oil with more general aromatherapy massage to help with the stress and its causes.

How To Use :

Direct as a massage or a local massage oil, or add 5 to 10 drops to a warm bath to promote healthy circulation.
