Chenopodium Essential Oil
Botanical name Chenopodium Ambrosioides extract from fruits and leaves by steam distillation. Chenopodium essential oil has a penetrating, camphor-like odor, and a bitter, burning taste. Colorless to pale yellow when freshly distilled turning deeper yellow to brown through use.
Chenopodium essential oil benefit
One of the most efficient but disagreeable tasting of anthelmintics, being especially useful for the removal of ascarides or roundworms. It is also diaphoretic, diuretic, and expectorant.
