Apricot Kernel oil for skin
It provides good slip and lubricity to a product. Primarily used as a carrier, it is a good moisturizing and occlusive agent, and finds considerable use in cosmetics for its skin softening action. This oil is rapidly absorbed by the skin and has a high vitamin E content that some claim can aid the skin in retaining elasticity, clarity and suppleness. It is perfect for facial use. Also an excellent choice as a body or massage oil for skin types that do not accept oils very easily. As the name implies, the oil comes from the kernel of apricot and is widely produced in the United States. Good for all skin types, especially prematurely aged, sensitive, inflamed and dry.
