Ingredients : Arctostaphylos uva-ursi leave extract, magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, glycerin.

Contain Bearberry leaves extract and Vitamin C. Inhibits skin cells to produce melanin pigments by inhibiting the tyrosinase activity by reducing melanin biosynthesis, effectively lightens age spots & dark skin areas. Used in all kinds of whitening and anti-aging products like creams, lotions, fluids and sprays.

Bearberry leaves have a powerful astringency and probably also an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory effect. The main constituent of bearberry leaves is a crystallizable glucoside called arbutin. Other constituents include mathyl-arbutin, ericolin, ursone, gallic acid, ellagic acid, and probably also myriceting. The bearberry plant is a small shrub, and the dried leaves are the only part used in cosmetics.

Vitamin C is a well known antioxidant, its also acts as a collagen biosynthesis regulator. It is known to control intercellular colloidal substances such as collagen, and when formulated into the proper vehicles, can have a skin lightening effect. Vitamin C can pass through the layers of the skin and promote healing of tissue damaged by burns or injury. It is found, therefore, in burn ointments and creams used for abrasions. It is also popular in anti-aging products. Indicate possible anti-inflammatory properties as well.

How To Used :

Level 4%-8%, 1% when combined with exfoliates, add to the water phase (not over 60°C/140°F) or to finished products, stable in the pH-range of 4.0 to 7.0.
