Cypress Floral Water botanical name Cupressus Sempervirens. The essential oils in Cypress Floral Water are extracted from leaves by steam distillation. Smoky, woody smell reminiscent of turpentine but less so than the oil of Juniper. Cypress floral water is another insect repellinf floral water, particularly in summer.

Cypress Floral Water Benefits Cypress Floral Water is very astringent, used wherever there is an excess of fluid, from oedema incontinence and excessive perspiration. This is a very diuretic's floral water, using for treating water retention in tissue and in joints. Cypress is a tonic to the circulatory system. The astringent action is also helpful for piles, used as a local wash or in an ointment, use undiluted in a compress, or diluted in a sitz bath for hemorrhoids in combination with Witch Hazel or Chamomile. Cypress Floral Water supports the venous system and improves circulation. Spray on skin it helpful in treating varicose veins.

Combine with Rosemary or Clary Sage and spray on tired or heavy legs for relief and energy or add to a foot bath to reduce swollen ankles. Cypress is for excessive sweating of the feet. Mix with other floral waters to create personalized moisturizing waters. It is also suitable for adding to hot or cold water for baths, sitz baths, or compresses. Use it alone or in a variety of blends for room fragrance, and spray it on sheets, pillows, and clothes.
